From Snow at the beginning of the week to Water Park Fun at the end of the week!
We went to the beach on Saturday afternoon and spent a wonderful two nights at a great resort. Scott and Silas had no school Monday, so we got to stay on after the weekend crowd left to go home. The boys LOVE water so they got their fill of it while we were there. There were slides for Silas the daredevil, lazy rivers, and play areas that Stephen and Silas had a ball in. We had a very nice room with an extended balcony. It was of course too cold to stay out too long, but it did offer a nice view. We made reservations for 4 nights for Spring Break and are so looking forward to going back. I hit 20 years full-time with Food Lion this year, so along with that comes 5 weeks of vacation. Woo-hoo! The Dobbins clan LOVES vacation!

SNOW DAY!!
I had to brave the roads at 6am to get to work! We actually were not that busy, I guess everyone in the Mint Hill metropolis bought everything they needed the day before, so I got to come home at 1pm. Scott took the boys out at 9am for some snow fun. Stephen only stayed out for 10 minutes. He wasn't too happy, and would not wear gloves, so he came in asked immediately for a "bass" (bath) to warm up! I came home and went out for a little bit to help Silas with his snowman, but quickly decided it was TOO cold for me!!
Upward Basketball
Silas started his Upward (a Christ-centered Sports Ministry) Basketball at our church, Lee Park Baptist, this past Saturday. It was VERY fun to watch, the kids don't do a whole lot of dribbling, just running to get the ball to the goal and find a good place to shoot from! He did make 2 baskets--very good for his first time! We're VERY proud of our little man, he's growing up WAY too fast!

Addicted to Nick Jr.Com...
I'm not quite sure how it happened. But it did. Stephen is intensely addicted to playing games on the computer. It started out as just watching a Dora the Explorer episode, then he taught himself how to use the mouse, and now he plays all the games he can find. Apparently he actually listens to the directions and does what the game says to do. He actually pretty good considering that he's not even 26 months old yet!! That's our boy, smart as can be!! He even loves to sit in the chair beside his brother and watch him play too!
